Michael has worked in Silicon Valley for twenty years, placing technology executives into early-stage and growth-stage venture-backed companies. He understands how to present ideas and motivate the best talent from these communities. Michael has embraced an approach to search that emphasizes speed and calibration. He likes to present the initial candidate(s) within days so that refining of the spec can be done early.

 

Michael has completed over 200 searches for CEOs, board members and VP teams, working from offices in San Francisco, New York, Munich and London. Michael has been intimately involved with building private boards, providing advice and recruiting new directors and advisory teams.

Chris is based in Amsterdam and focuses on leadership searches for public and private technology companies. This includes VP EMEA, VP Sales and country manager roles in the UK, Germany/ DACH, France and Benelux. He also sources board directors to advise our VC clients as they build their SaaS portfolio firms.

 

Chris also provides a ‘sales build-out’ service, sourcing senior field sales executives to drive revenue growth. Prior to acquisitions by Qlik & Oracle, Chris’ team sourced over 30 quota-carrying executives for Attunity (big data), Hyperion (analytics) and PeopleSoft (ERP).

 

A British national, Chris speaks fluent German and Dutch, having studied at the Goethe Institute in Hamburg and Frankfurt, and the Universiteit van Amsterdam.
